How To Apply

We are here to help you

 

To help you make a decision and gain more info about the institute and our courses, the admission staff is always happy to answer any queries you may have and should be your first point of contact for any queries on application. Please feel free to telephone the Admission office or indeed pay a visit in person to our location as per your convenience.

Once you have decided

 

The application procedure depends on the type of course you choose. Typically the following are mandatory for all courses at SinGem:

1. Proof of Residence and photo identification

2. Statement of purpose

 

A 500-800 word personal essay must accompany your application. Briefly mention your reasons or doing the course, your goals, past experience and personal history.

3. Transcripts

 

Official sealed transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate study at colleges and institutes must be submitted to SinGem Admission office. All transcripts must be in English or accompanied by a certified English translation of the original.

4. Interview and Group Discussion

 

As part of the admissions process, some courses include group discussion and interview. The Admission committee, after reviewing your application will arrange for the interview, if they so require.

5. Letters of Recommendation

 

2 Letters of recommendation from current or past instructors, employers or professional colleagues must be submitted to SinGem Admissions office.

6. International students

 

Foreign students must submit verification of English proficiency in the form of an official copy of a TOEFL score of at least 550 (or 213 on the computer based TOEFL), certified translations of all documents, and a declaration of finances.

7. Financial Aid

 

Financial assistance is available in the form of merit and need based scholarship, grant, and work study under the Shri Indarchand Srimal Scholarships offered under SinGem's New Entrepreneur Initiative. All students who wish to apply for financial assistance should complete the SinGem Financial aid application. Student may request these forms from the admission office. Suitable candidates will be short listed on the basis of merit. They may need to submit portfolios, financial documents, records of past education, and work experience to SinGem Admissions office.

8. Student Loans

 

Student Loans are available at special rates to SinGem students via special arrangement with leading banks.
